Hiking in Andalusia

Andalusia is movement in stone and light.
Hills, rocks, and coasts tell stories of time and depth – nature in its purest form.
For thousands of years, people have left their traces here – paths, villages, stories.
Hiking, climbing, discovering – every step a new chapter.

The Ammonite

Ammonites were marine creatures and, at around 300 million years, are the species that existed the longest on Earth.
That’s much longer than mammals and humans combined have been around.
The mountains of Andalusia were once the bottom of a sea where many of them fossilized.
Sea became land.
You can still find them everywhere here.
For me, they are a symbol of both constancy and change – and of this land itself.
I chose one as the emblem for my project.

Your Guide

Sebastian – your guide

I’m Sebastian,
your guide.
More than 25 years ago, I came to Andalusia to climb and mountaineer.
Andalusia drew me in – and I stayed.
As a mountaineer, I have to be able to read the stones, the land, and the weather.
All of this has connected me deeply with this landscape, its geology, its people, and its history.
That’s what I’d like to share with you on my hikes.

The Hikes

Our hikes focus on small but special routes in the provinces of Málaga and Granada.
We like to avoid the beaten paths.
In addition to the tried and tested hikes presented here, we’re happy to create a custom hike, day trip, or adventure just for you.
We organize everything from transfers to picnics.
You just have to do the walking. 😉
On average, trips with transfer last about 6 hours.
The hikes themselves take between 2–3 hours.
Prices range from 35 to 60 euros per person and hike.
